Unfortunately, many Dollar General locations do not accept credit cards as a form of payment for third party gift cards, even though that’s not their official corporate policy. In addition, they throttle gift card activation – make sure to check your receipt and ask for a manual refund in case the activation fails.
Some of the multi-brand cards swappable for electronic gift cards online likely include Amazon and Lowe’s as an option.
