Earn 5% cashback on up to $1,500 in purchases at Target during 2024 Q4 using Discover credit cards enrolled in quarterly bonus categories. Target Circle credit and debit cards also earn 5% at Target. However, keep in mind that Target deals involving a “free” Target gift card are actually set up to charge full price for it and to discount the other item(s) accordingly. In this case, you would get Regal or Under Armour gift card(s) at 85% of their face value and a Target gift card at 100% of its face value, thus earning 4.25% cashback on the total purchase amount.
Bonus Target gift cards from online orders are linked to the purchasing account automatically. While some may find this convenient, keep in mind that other people would not be able to use such gift cards. Bonus Target gift cards from in-store purchases do not have similar restrictions on them.
