Use a credit card that offers bonus for spending at grocery stores, such as 4x Membership Rewards from American Express Gold Card (Eugene’s referral link) or 5% cashback from Chase Freedom Flex during Q1. Keep in mind that online purchases are processed by Blackhawk and won’t code as groceries.
It may appear from the ad that select gift cards qualify, while in reality all third party gift cards should qualify. The selection on their website isn’t great, but some brands to consider are Airbnb, Delta Airlines, eBay, Home Depot and Target. Apple and Best Buy, which are typically most valuable brands, may be available in store.
