Use a credit card that offers bonus for spending at grocery stores, such as 4x Membership Rewards from American Express Gold Card (Eugene’s referral link).
Many locations permit purchasing up to $5,000 in gift cards in a single transaction (and the system allows it), despite the terms stating a lower limit.
Flexible Rewards may be redeemed at Giant gas stations and participating Shell stations for a fuel discount. 100 points = $0.10 discount per gallon (20-gallon max). Point redemptions are capped at 1,500 points per use = $1.50 off per gallon. Customers must enter a phone number at the pump to get their discount.
It is possible to connect Flexible Rewards with a Fuel Rewards account and use ALT ID at Shell instead of the phone number. Fuel Rewards program allows combining points from multiple partners for additional discounts.
This is the first time I’ve seen household limit on the ad, any reports of it being hard coded in their register? Could just be up to each employee to enforce like before
