Previously, they did run a similar 10% off deal with savings capped at $20, but they had a slightly different brand selection, including Zift Zillions of Gifts (at first also at 10% off, then only at 5% off, and now only showing up on special occasions). Then they changed this promotion to ongoing, with a monthly limit of 4 gift cards, though from time to time they still raise it to 15% off most or all brands (just for a single purchase). Keep in mind that same monthly limit of 4 gift cards applies, whether they are at 10% off or 15% off discount.
There are also three other ongoing promotions, with independent limits: 10% Off Xbox Gift Cards, with the monthly limit of 4 per person, 10% off Best Buy Gift Cards, with the monthly limit of 2, and Buy $100 Select Digital Gift Cards and Get a $10 DoorDash Gift Card Free, also with the monthly limit of 2.
If you are not a DoorDash member yet, you can ask an existing member to refer you and get $5 off your first order over $20 (excluding taxes and fees), while they would receive $5 in credits for future use, up to 10 times.
DashPass membership normally costs $9.99 per month. However, it is complimentary through December 31, 2027 with Chase Sapphire Reserve or Chase Sapphire Preferred cards (Eugene’s referral links). It is free for the first twelve months with most co-branded cards issued by Chase, and for the first six months with Chase Freedom and Slate cards. For a limited time, it is also available free for one year with qualifying T-Mobile plans.
