Purchasing gift cards in a Best Buy store normally triggers offers of this type (despite the terms saying otherwise). Purchasing third party gift cards on bestbuy.com works as well, but buying Best Buy gift cards online does not work, since they are actually sold by Cashstar.

You may want to save the offer now and wait a few weeks to use it, as Best Buy usually runs promos on Apple gift cards around the holiday season.
